Tim Schafer was once the hottest name in gaming. In a time when Vanilla Ice was the world’s most famous white rapper, fans of Lucasarts adventure games couldn’t wait to see what zany, hilarious, and original adventure they would be able to play through next. These days the industry has moved on from the simple point and click mechanic, and adventure gaming genre has been largely forgotten in favour of the Call of Duties and Uncharteds of the current era, surviving mostly as small, low overhead titles, playable for a few dollars on Steam or iOS.
